"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

Boy I thought of all places this site would show more interest in this auction or are all you guys pretending to not be interested so the prices won't get to high, ha ha.

I think the issue becomes transportation for many...lots of costs there.

Why would we talk about it here? Interested parties go to the site and see what they might like. You're probably right about that last part!

I wish I had room for these things...

Too bad Nautilus 1975 isn't here anymore he was into telling other people what to do with their property. He would have been all over this auction. Makes me wonder about the market for these machines if he can't sell them outright.

Did he move? He used to be located in Rochester NY. His site lists his phone # as a 585 area code.

I'm wondering if he will share if and what the machines sold for ? Why would people talk about the auction on here? What other site has as many Nautilus nuts on it? I do think though that the amount of people willing to spend big money or money at all on Nautilus has dropped considerably. I'm one of the leading Nautilus nuts around and I wouldn't even think of getting any of these unless they went for next to nothing.

I think there's a very small market for these machines. I'm guessing about maybe 10 guys or so but all it takes is one or two guys bidding against you who really wants one to keep the price sky high.

So did anyone hear about how the auction went?

I just heard from a friend that hardly any sold. The machines were cool but I'm sure the reserve was sky high and the auction was run oddly. Not like a e-bay type auction or some of the other better run auctions.

I would actually have to see them in person and try them out before I would consider purchasing
