"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

I have read that if someone is older they probably need more protein. How much protein would you recommend for a 65 male who weighs 200lb?

I would keep the protein the same, 80 grams, for a 65 year old man who weighs 200 pounds.

Dr Darden,
i love this video, however i do not follow the 3 exercise routine, i actually follow a 12 exercise pre-ehaustion routine 2x/week
my question to you is this
what is your opinion on splitting the pre-exhaustion routine into compound exercise routine one day a week and an isolation exercise routine on the other day of the week i.e.

day 1
leg press
calf press
chest press
shoulder press
bb curls
tricep dips
db hammer curls for the forearms
leg raises

day 2
leg extensions
leg curls
seated calf
side laterals
preacher curls
tricep ex machine
db wrist curls
ab crunches

all one set to failure for about 8-12 reps

thx, dan
