I waited three days to measure. Perhaps too long, as my arm measurements went down during this experiment. I lost 1/16" on my upper right arm and an 1/8" on my upper left arm. Forearms remained the same.
I do not believe the workout was the problem. I believe my diet had a negative effect, in that I have been eating many more vegetables and less flour based carbohydrates. I probably have less glycogen stored, thus less water in the muscle cell.
The physics of stage reps dont make sense to me. i can recognize the sticking point, but what is going on physiologically that creates that sticking point? are stage reps the only way around this happening?

The way aound it is a machine that provides a correctly designed cam.
