"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

This is one of 93 photos of Andy McCutcheon that are used in The New High-Intensity Training to illustrate the recommended exercises.

I haven't been able to locate my copy of High Intensity Home Training since moving.

Does anyone recall if Dr. Darden mentioned any other leg exercises in this book other than squats, deadlifts, leg curls or leg extensions? Did he recommend old school barbell hack squats?

Thanks,

Marc

I don't have that book, but in Super High Intensity Training he recommends doing sissy squats as part of a leg cycle.

Marc,

In that book I do mention the hack squat and sissy squat.

Thanks for the responses. Since I don't have a leg press machine, I need a little more variety in my leg routines.

i have never heard of a sissy squat. Is it very effective at working the quads? Or is it for a different part fo the leg.
