"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

This is one of 93 photos of Andy McCutcheon that are used in The New High-Intensity Training to illustrate the recommended exercises.

Dan,

It's a fact-filled book that is well written. Yes, it's worth what he's asking.

Hello Dan,

It is unlike any book you have read regarding the iron game. The scope of the project is huge. Great book.

Awesome Book!

Randy really did his homework on this volume. Most of the subject matter covered is fact from the horses' mouth, not Randy's opinion. He really reached out to the parties and experts involved. Cannot wait for the the next volume.

A must have in my book, no pun intended...

Randy Roach is indeed the man. And other classic is on its way to press, Bill Pearl's two volume history of the Irongame, featuring strongmen, physical culturists, and assorted others -

a thousand pages lavishly illustrated with editting by none other than Dr Terry Todd, the first man to crack the 800 pound barrier on the deadline a scant 41 years ago - and innovator of the Todd-McLean Physical Culture Archives at the University of Texas, Austin.

Bill's pushing 80, in incredible shape, and advocating holistic approaches to training as always. Interestingly enough, when he dusted Sergio in 1971, he did so as a vegetarian!

Sorry,

Arthur Jones did quote "cast not pearls before swine," but southbeach is a clown not a swine.

I will be sure to get one!
Any book connected to Terry Todd, Bill Pearl has got to be great!

After all, Bill Pearl's reputation is that of a gentleman. Even Arthur Jones liked Bill Pearl!

When you read through it, (if you haven't already) it is a very accurate title.
