"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

Starting the up coming Monday or tuesday I will be starting a 100% raw diet. I will eat primalily raw eggs and 1 gallon of raw milk a day, the rest of my diet will be raw fruits, veggies and nuts. I will post my results frequency in both strength and size.

alex

P.S Mike, it looks like I may be seeing you in two or three weeks. I got 390 on the bench for 2 and 330 on the pullover for 7.

Sounds very healthy. Raw milk is tremendously anabolic; you should consider adding some pasta or bread to get enough carbs to utilize it.

You are not going to believe what it does to your physique. Just for the record guys Alex's pullover is being performed on a 1st gen plate loader, not some cammed up super slow machine are much easier 3rd gen or 2st.

Be careful going 1 gallon a day to start with. Water retention will become an issue. If you are drinking too much you will see dischare out your tongue. Same as anything else.

Tomislov, How much carbs would you add, I feel Alex will be getting plenty per day from the gallon of milk alone. Curious on your thoughts.

Southbeach, stay out of this thread. You have made your point clear several times. Alex is a grown man and can make his own decisions. He is several times smarter then you and the FDA in terms of training and nutritional knowledge. Just sit back and watch the same transformation that occured with myself, Josh, Randy and James.

With this diet I will be eat plenty of plant matter that will satisfy any additional carbohydrate requirements. My girlfriend is experimenting with raw veganism with supplementation of raw milk in the future. But the bulk of my caloric intake will be raw eggs (approximatly 6-12 eggs a day) and around one gallon of raw milk. If Josh Trentine and mike or any others have any advice I would glad to hear it.

Mike,
I agree milk and eggs are complete foods and Alex is getting great nutrition, but while carbs are an anathema to people who are overweight and out of shape, he's carrying a lot of muscle which tends to soak up and in fact require extra carbs. For maximum gains, none of those carbs to replenish glycogen should result from protein conversion in the liver. His rice should work fine.

You idiot! Do you understand salmonella, e coli and botchulism? Apparently not! Alex, be careful. I fear that you know not where you tread.

Wow. Yeah, it wouldn't be for me because the risks are higher, but generally I do believe this would be safe to try. Needed? Hell no, but I don't think he will drop dead.

HIT61,
Good to see you participating in the forum, thought all you did was post fanboy pictures of BIOFORCE.

I'm quite familiar with raw milk; grew up on a farm. I can see you're an ardent fan of mythology but those dangers are overstated as raw milk is a live food. As for salmonella, in a clean fresh egg it's so rare as to be almost non-existent.

As are science myths and statistics myths.

Even though overall raw dairy consumption is low vs. pasteurized, the number of severe illnesses from raw dairy still outweigh any outbreaks from mis-handled pasteurized products.

Read and decide for yourself.

P.S. "I've been drinking raw milk for 20 years and nothing's happened to me" should NOT be considered a compelling argument for one to go down this path.

Ok, farm boy, I can see that you are quiet ignorant of microbiology. Eating many of those foods raw is dangerous. And it isn't me that doesn't understand.

BTW, I've always wondered why you are purple? Does it have anything to do with drinking raw milk and eating eggs directly from the chickens rear end?

Interesting!

I have taken to raw fish, and medium rare steaks. I've always done raw eggs. The medium rare steak seems much easier to digest than a more thoroughly cooked version.
