"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

This is one of 93 photos of Andy McCutcheon that are used in The New High-Intensity Training to illustrate the recommended exercises.

Over the past several years I have made many contacts on this forum. Several I know consider to be close friends. As many of you know I have been working very hard to build the best gym possible. 9 months ago I moved to my new building. I posted about it then but never put up the youtube video for the walk-through.

Not sure why.

So I wanted to post it on here so everyone could get a look.

http://www.youtube.com/...h?v=qLRTG4noG-I

Even though it's only been 9 months since I opened up at my new location I have been very busy taking the gym to the next level. Here is the video of the recent upgrades I have made. Make sure to watch the last 30 seconds of this video. It's the best part.

http://www.youtube.com/...h?v=nWsnwmAq9pA

Hope everyone enjoys.

Scott, I just bought the 2 seat version from Jeff Miehl and had Tim refurbish it. I did NOT have Tim change the cam in any way. You wouldn't believe the workout and pump this machine gives your biceps! Like nothing I've ever felt. As usual Arthur had it right!

jastrain, I'll call Tim Ryan and see if he'll come on and give you the details. He makes the machines look and feel like new!

I did the following:

1) Sandblasted the frame and all the weight plates down to bare metal
2) Powdercoated the frame and weight plates
3) Installed all new pads
4) Installed all new hardware
5) Installed bearings in all articulations
6) Installed new chrome guide rods
7) Installed linear bearings in top weight plate
8) Converted from chain to Kevlar

I have hosted many people from this forum over the years at my facilities. Anyone is welcome. One day Im going to find a special project and get it to Tim Ryan. I never hear anything but great things in regards to what he does to machines.

Great stuff. When the continental glaciers start up again, you should move all that down to Texas.

That swing squat machine looks pretty cool.

I have done quite a bit of travelling for picking up machines, seminars, events in the martial arts world and if I had to move south it would be Daytona Beach.

We made a pit stop on my way down to Orlando a few years ago. Had some BBQ right on the strip. Just thought it was the nicest little beach town.

Remember that Arlington or should I say Washington DC is insulated from the good or bad economies. It's a government and corporate heaven here with a multitude of people with fat wallets who want to get in shape and workout. The biggest down side is it probably costs 3 or more times the rent or mortgage to live in this area compared to Canada.
I've been trying to get Dave F. to open a gym here but it's just to expensive for him at this time. You seem to better of financially so you might be able to make a go of it in this area.

You wont see me opening a business in the States anytime soon. Your economy is a mess. Don't matter if you elect Obama again or Romney. Neither one is going to save the day. A complete paradigm shift in government is needed. They both do things withing the same scope even if they do argue the small things endlessly. I don't see any way you guys can possibly pay back your debt. When you default on your loans, probably after the debt ceiling gets increased this winter and credit rating drops further, all bets are off. Are Prime Minister (same as your President) is an economist and had us out of the global recession before any other G8 country. The big problem is how many government jobs there are draining the system. The private sector always does it better.
