"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

This is one of 93 photos of Andy McCutcheon that are used in The New High-Intensity Training to illustrate the recommended exercises.

Well, since I've been banned from the Body by Science blog, it looks like I'll set up shop here. I'll see if I can attach some of my videos. Sorry for the poor quality. I train in my unfinished dungeon.

Looking strong. You're a brave one hitting those heavy benches unattended.

If I can ask, what got you banned from the BBS site?

For being a sarcastic humorous prick, disagreeing with the 10/10 protocol, and calling it like I see it. My last post before he pulled it and banned me was something to the effect of:
The problem with physicians is that they believe that their small area of "expertise" transfer over into all other areas and aspects in life, which clearly isn't the case.

I like you already. I guess that version of science includes casting out dissension.

Results are big for me. You can talk to me all day about the ideal speed, the most advanced protocol, the ideal diet, etc...but in after all that if you look like shit, I'm simply not going to listen. Perhaps I haven't evolved yet or I need to open my mind a bit more, but I'm sorry. They even went so far as to have a full blown conversation on it being OK to be an obese personal trainer. As long as you know your stuff, what's the difference. The difference is huge with me. If I walk into a facility and the individual that I'm about to drop my dime on is physically out of shape, I'm out the door. Simple as that.

I'm done sifting through the minds of 140lb golfers on how to get bigger and stronger. It's the equivalent of going to a math tutor that can't add or subtract. Maybe when I'm done I can ask the homeless bum under the bridge some questions about commercial real estate and where to get a good bite to eat.

Not just for dissenting, but for asking questions too.

I now fully understand how L Ron Hubbard did what he did.

1) An intelligent person who writes well.

2) Promote ideas (true or untrue) as the ultimate and only way.

3) Develop a cult following.

4) Excoriate and cast out any who ask questions.

Sound familiar???

Welcome on board Sir. You just passed your evaluation with A+.

P.S. I saw the book called something like body by science but I never knew there is a blog dedicated to such stupidity.

Problem is you cannot properly judge a method by the static state of the proponents. In other words the ONLY thing that counts is yes a 'results' but results that show improvement over time. That is comparing only the person to their own improvement or lack thereof.

So be as raunchy as you want but if you point to a big guy for proof you will be no better than any other.

Andrew

Awesome point, Andrew.

The big guy at the gym is the last MF you should ask for advice --- chances are he's grown in spite of his workouts, not because of them.

Scott and Andrew,
I agree with both of you. What I disagree with is the manner that they believe one size fits all and there exists a perfect way of doing something. I'm not saying simply approach the biggest guy for advice, just don't attend seminars by Shaquille O'Neal on how to become 7 feet 2 inches tall.

Good point. However, the list of idiots who NOT to ask for advice usually takes about a 3 to 5-min look around the gym.

During that short scan, your brain will automatically weed-out the typical gym dipsticks, dumbshits, and dweezledicks w/o you even being consciously aware of it.

Honestly,Have you ever seen anyone train in any gym anywhere that youd think could offer any constructive advice? I surely havent.
Im friendly with a lot of the "older" mob at my gym.I cant recall how many times, Ive been questioned whilst falling alseep post workout in reception "You Finished already?" They then proceed to "use" the Nitro circuit (parts of it anyway)One set after another, with virtually no effort. Then onto the "hamster on a wheel" thingy.

No reasoning, no Logic, no fuckin idea why they are even there.
The younger me, may have sat them down and try to explain EXACTLY what im trying to acomplish. The older me, just thinks fuck em, I dont care.
I grew tired of trying to rationalise with illogical minds long ago..........

Blaine,

Actually you just might have been banned for your obscene, childish ADalphabet inspired ramblings that are uncivil and slanderous at best. I mention this since your explanation is not true and disparages the BBS site.

I post these recent examples to defend a quality BBS blog, the authors and their participants. Dr. Darden should ban you too before you further harm this site.

CAUTION EXAMPLES FOLLOW:

? - - - - can probably answer your questions?at least the masturbation part.? ? I loved you on ?to catch a predator? last night.? ? ?same time rubbing one out ? ? ?You guys (or ladies) are getting fisted harder than sock puppets.? ? ?Your ?inner circle? might be the one that is currently getting pounded? ? ?so painfful to ponder that when they initially make you swallow? ? ?A done in one has to be exhausting after digesting that much ?content.? ? ?whatever new lube that comes with ?shimmer? that - - - - uses on the stripper pole?

19hit,
Way to go the extra mile. That must have taken you some time. Heartbeats of your life you'll never get back. Don't bother responding as I doubt I'll check this thread again. I'm onto other projects. You haven't seen anything yet. Hang in there...it gets worse.

Yeah, you're right 19hit.I lurked at BBS for a long while, and then Blain messed everything up with his fascination with "reacharounds" and "fisting." Plus the endless profanity.Dr. McGuff asked him to refrain.Blain did not refrain. That's why he was/is banned.

A very strange lie. For all of us who follow the BBS-blog the reason for you being banned, clearly stated by Dr M, was something totaly different.

It wasent your ideas about training, thats for sure . I do wonder if you have Torettes-syndrome though.

Vulgarity is a piece of a bad puzzle that adds nothing and takes away from a thinking mans discussion. If vulgarity is the gist of what you have to offer then as far as I'm concerned you are most definitely not welcome here.
