"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

Local gym closing has a monstrous Leg Press/Extension combo for sale or maybe just for scrap. I may just pull the weight stacks before he sends it to the scrap heap. Must move it this weekend.
PM me if interested.

Anything on this worth saving?

thanks
Mike

may be a compound nautilus leg machine..very much worth saving if it is and if price is right..despite friction issues and somewhat outdated mechanical design- properly used its still one of the most intense leg workouts ever

AFAIK, the only press/extension combo ever made was the Nautilus compound leg. There are around 55 plates on this machine but what good are the plates without the machine?? These go for around $800 on ebay so if you can grab it you should......

And there are those here who argue that you can't find cheap Nautilus machines....It don't get any cheaper than free, unless they pay you to take it away......

I paid $400 for mine, but I had to haul it to NY from Florida. Prior to that I missed one on ebay that I bid $800 on.

Never had a chance to test one. Going from leg extension to leg press was ok, going from leg extension to squat felt better.

I bought mine from Dr.Ken.I only had to drive about 3 1/2 hours one way for mine. Take it apart in put it in a regular pickup truck.
