"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

This is one of 93 photos of Andy McCutcheon that are used in The New High-Intensity Training to illustrate the recommended exercises.

Dr. D,
Excluding Casey Viator, who would be the all- time muscle-building King that you have trained? Would that be David hudlow? Keith Whitley? Truck Brown from the negative program? And also on truck Brown, did he use the X-Force machines in his bigger arms program or did he use standard equipment like you described in the book? Kind of confused on that one. Thank you!

Probably Dave Hudlow. He always gave each exercise 100 percent.

Truck Brown used mostly X-Force equipment in his arm program.

How about Hudlow? Was all his exercises MedX and did he use Super Slow 10-10 cadence throughout the 6 month program?

Hudlow's entire program was described in The New HIT, Chapters 24 through 28.

Yes! Of course! Stupid question! 😀
So......would you say that since one does not have access to X-Force and must use conventional equip and the 30-30-30 plan, that my results would be the same or there abouts, as a super slow program? Or Pre- Exhaust?
Status of new book?
Thanks Dr. D!

I believe you would get similar results. I've said the following before:

A combination of multiple techniques, properly performed, will provide most trainees with the best results. And remember what Jones said: "Belief in what you're doing is 50% of the positive results."
