"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

This is one of 93 photos of Andy McCutcheon that are used in The New High-Intensity Training to illustrate the recommended exercises.

It just goes to show the potential of these drugs. Here are a couple of pictures of a younger Arnold at a time I presume he was not taking anything - although still looks better than those guys.

See attached nice shots of our beloved Arnold. And a great TV program "Shape up with Arnold"

I think this photo was taken after 1980. Younger Arnold, not taking anything - you kidding me. His love affair with the juice is well documented

He certainly could have been taking something in that photo, but I've seen natural guys in that condition and shape including on this forum.

The tennis photo is circa 1977 I believe. When he met Maria Schriver.

I'm of the same opinion on the drugs thing. The potency of the drugs (although people keep saying the opposite) or the amount they're taking supplants genetics.

As for genetics vs drugs (I know this is later than Arnold's era).

Anyway: Watch "MR. OLYMPIA 1988 - OPENING OF THE CONTEST" on YouTube

Comparing the bodyweights of 'Classic Physique' competitors vs '88 Olympia competitors. Many (apart from Haney) the same. Yet 88' Looks better. Genetics.

Are you comparing guys of the same height? Labrada at 5?7?, 180 looks a lot different than a 6? guy at the same weight.

That's a very good point. I don't know how tall the current crop of Classic competitors are and people often lie. Same goes for the '88 competitors.

Yes but if someone is obviously much taller then yes it's relevant. You might have just destroyed my argument...lol!

Throwing one more "before and after" comparison. One of my favorites.

Look at that! Unbelievable. Professional bodybuilding is a sham.

Love or hate Blaha, hes right on the money with this one, HIT had little to do with Yates being Mr O, a huge stack of gear, insulin and $2k per month of HGH made him Mr O.
