"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

This is one of 93 photos of Andy McCutcheon that are used in The New High-Intensity Training to illustrate the recommended exercises.

Hope my comment on not taking his advice was read as I meant it , as sarcasm. His stuff should not be ignored just because he was written off by the HIT crowd as an idiot.

who in the HIT crowd has indicated Vince is an idiot....there are plenty on this site that show admiration for Girondas diet and training methods

and the funny thing is, some think that the HIT crowd are close minded to others methods of weight training....but the stories go that Vince would throw people out of the gym if they did not train as instructed...lol

Bill Sekerak did so in another thread ( Jones and Steroids ) He said "... So many idiots from Joe Weider to Vince ( forgot his last name) ... " Sounds to me like he's referring to Gironda as an idiot , no ?

I always thought that Jones and Gironda were the same type of guy " My way or the highway " LOL.

But both Jones and Gironda knew what they were talking about and gave sound advice.

Weider, Gironda and Jones were definitely not idiots....they were big giants that were very instrumental to what fitness has become today...may not agree with there methods, but I have some respect for them as very successful businessmen

I don't think Vince was a good businessman though, seemed like he barely made enough money to survive, (compared to weider and jones who had empires)
