"Doing more exercise with less intensity,"
Arthur Jones believes, "has all but
destroyed the actual great value
of weight training. Something
must be done . . . and quickly."
The New Bodybuilding for
Old-School Results supplies
MUCH of that "something."

This is one of 93 photos of Andy McCutcheon that are used in The New High-Intensity Training to illustrate the recommended exercises.

As the title states
Kieser have designed a infirmetric only leg press that work in a very similar way to the Duo-squat, next week I hope to see it and have a go.

I?ll post a picture when I have.

Arthur Jones failed on infimetrics

Nary a man worked harder than Go2strength to improve infimetrics

He failed.

So will Kieser!

You would not believe how quickly Kieser is growing in Australia.
It?s actually going mental.
It?s wonderful to see this as I think Arthur Jones saw what was going to happen to a growing older population.

Growing numbers of sports people are gravitating to this methodology it?s warming to see.

Quote - And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you; nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. - end quote.

The body harmoniously works together.
Pitting one body part against another disrupts this harmonious relationship.

Most likely with the muscles sharing the same nervous control center, muscle recruitment would be significantly decreased. This is an obvious move in the wrong direction.

I can see where this machine would be great used in the mid range with short movements, not so much when one leg is in the weaker bent position opposing the other leg in the exponentially strongest straight leg position.

I've wondered the same thing in any infimetric movement. Could a certain shaped cam resolve this?

LOL, I can't make heads or tails of what I'm even looking at.

I?ve only really used infirmetrics as a finisher rather than a primary exercise.
I find it really not only works the heart and lungs but creates a little more inroad into fatigue I can?t use it often.

In terms of primary exercise for the neophyte I thinks it?s really good, under supervision is even better.

Is it good long term?
Who the fuck knows, everyone is different.

Carry on
Cam shapes FFS.

Not saying I wouldn?t take it for a test drive, if given the opportunity. I?ve been wrong a lot in my life.
